He uses visual aids, powerpoint, readings, improvisational drawing, animations and comedy to educate children about writing, art, book making, and creativity. He can design his presentations for any age group or any emphasis. He has over 25 years experience as an illustrator, writer, and educator and his artwork has been seen in almost every major magazine in America. As a former professional stand-up comedian, Chris uses every creative talent at his disposal to bring the joy of reading to life.

From his home base of Tucson, Arizona, Chris has visited schools all over the country. He has been a presenter at national IRA and NCTE conventions, as well as ALA and IBBY conventions and bookseller’s associations.
